The Years post-October 7 that are reshaping Israel and the Middle East

I invite you to join me on a unique and insightful journey through Israel, the Middle East, the Jewish people, and the Druze community, which I tell through my personal story as a Druze Israeli trailblazer.

We will begin with an introduction to my background and the Druze community in Israel, followed by an in-depth discussion on minorities, Arab-Jewish relations, and the rapid, dramatic developments shaping Israel and the Middle East. Then, we will zoom out to understand the events of October 7 and the war that followed, which are national traumas affecting the broader geopolitical landscape. Together, we will explore the events leading up to October 7, the lessons Israelis and Palestinians are learning through the conflict, and the actions needed to move toward resolution.

As an Israeli Druze engaged in Israel-Middle East relations through politics, diplomacy, and media, I invite you to join me in this critical exploration of Israel's challenges and opportunities, both domestically and in the region, post-October 7. We will focus on the vision and concrete actions needed to create political hope for the future and, most importantly, how we can effectively engage as social agents to drive change.

The strong and unique relationship between the Jews and Druze started before the establishment of the state of Israel, relying on mutual values and goals, and today, it is considered a successful model of integration of a minority in Israel.
